  • 橫斷面分析之結果發現,代表市場結構與參進障礙的變數,如期初集中度水準、產業大小、產業成長與利潤率對集中度變化皆為負向的影響;而最小有效規模則正向的影響。在研究發展變數方面,實證發現期初研究發展密集度對集中度變化為正向影響,而研究發展密集度變化對集中度變化的影響則為負向;此一結果於相關文獻上並無類似發現,有可能為台灣的特殊情形。
    在動態模型分析方面,本文發現最小有效規模、實質運用資產與市場大小是長期均衡集中度最主要的決定因素;而研究發展密集度對集中度變化的影響並不一致。此外,實證發現調整速度的模型設定中,期初利潤率的函數形式,在民國75∼80年時具有凹函數的性質;而民國80∼85年時則顯示出凸函數的性質,表示事實上調整速度的設定,其真正形式似乎是決定於產業的實際情況,並非絕對是凸函數。最後,關於調整速度的大小及其影響因素,實證發現不論在任何時期,調整速度皆受到最小有效規模負向顯著的影響。
