  • 本論文應用DAML (DARPA Agent Markup Language) 來描述ontology,為建立agent community的核心。在community裡,agents所代表的 web services因而整合。
    DAML ontology 提供machine readability、semantic checking 和 relationship constraint的優點,促進精確的 web service descriptions。且 DAML 允許容易地更新ontology。
    另外,透過Community Facilitator (CF),web services能夠即時動態的整合,藉此提升個別agent的能力。除此之外,透過授予agent community內部agent權限,改善了安全性。


    This thesis uses DAML (DARPA Agent Markup Language) to describe ontology that serves as central part to build agent community. The web services of agents in this community are thus integrated.
    DAML ontology provides machine readability, semantic checking, and relationship constraint that facilitate precise web service descriptions. Also DAML allows easy ontology updates.
    In addition, through Community Facilitator (CF), the web services can be dynamically integrated, in the sense that capability of individual agent can be enhanced by the integration. Besides, security can be improved through granting authority to those agents within the agent community.
