This study aims to explore the relationships among employees’ work-life balance, job satisfaction, well-being, organizational commitment, and turnover intention with the subjects from a government-affiliated R&D organization well-known for its advancing national defense technology in Taiwan. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to the incumbent employees. The results indicate that work-life balance is positively related to employees’ organizational commitment and well-being, and negatively related to their leaving intention. Job satisfaction is also positively related to employees’ organizational commitment and well-being, and negatively related to their leaving intention. In addition, job satisfaction partially mediates the relationships among work-life balance, organizational commitment, well-being, and leaving intention. Drawn on the findings, managerial implication and suggestions for future research are thus discussed.
