隨著資訊科技的日新月異,無線網路的興起與個人數位助理(PDA)的出現,讓人與人的溝通更佳的方便,且每一個人都可以在隨時隨地都可以方便的使用到數位化的產品,也因為這樣的理由,人們在學習上也不在侷限於傳統的學習環境,而可以隨時隨地使用不同的學習載具來達到與傳統學習環境相同的學習效果。
在本篇論文裡,我們希望能利用目前的個人的數位產品結合分散式的觀念,建構一個行動學習資訊系統,這個系統不僅包含了原先的網路教學環境,還包含了一個可以讓學生以離線式的方式進行學習活動(學生端網路學習伺服器),同時可以記錄下學生在離線情形下的學習活動記錄,更包含了一個以PDA為學習載具(個人數位助理端之學習系統)的移動式學習環境,整合了三個學習環境,讓學生可以隨時隨地使用不同的學習載具進行學習活動,讓學生不至於因為在不同的環境下中斷他的學習活動,或是在網路連線不佳的情況下中斷學習活動。
在本篇論文的另一個重點就是在於整合這樣的三個環境的行動學習科技系統底下,我們希望學生的學習資料分散在這樣的三個環境下,所以我們在三個系統中分別設計一個同步系統讓三方面的學習資料進行上下傳的工作,而且是視學生的學習情況,提供學生不同的學習資料,且要根據學生不同的學習載具給予適當的學習介面與學習資料。
在本篇論文中我們設計了離線學習功能,並利用問卷來調查學生在使用後的滿意程度,我們可以發現有大於60%的學生是滿意此系統的離線學習功能。
