  • Narrow Line Seyfert I Galaxies(NLS1s)是西佛I型星系的一個次分類,過去對其電波波段的研究甚少。
    在寬譜線Quasar中約有10~15%為radio-loud,而在過去所知的NLS1s中具有radio-loud現象的遠低於這個比例。但2006年之前所知的NLS1數量約只有數百個,radio-loud更只有6個,並無法確定radio-loud現象的少見是肇因於統計問題或是本質即如此。
    本研究針對2011個SDSS中NLS1s樣本,利用FIRST與2MASS的資料,希望找到更多的radio-loud NLS1,並分析電波與近紅外波段的色指數與紅移性質,期望確定其與寬譜線間的關連性。


    Narrow Line Seyfert I Galaxies(NLS1s) is one of the sub-class of Seyfert Galaxies. In the past years, we know very few in radio band. About 10~15% broad line Quasars are radio-loud, and discovered NLS1s are fewer than this percentage. But we just know several hundred NLS1s before 2006, there are only 6 radio-loud NLS1s, we can’t sure the infrequent radio-loud phenomenons that are cause from statistical problem or essence. So our research takes 2011 NLS1s in SDSS survey as samples and use FIRST and 2MASS data, we hope find more radio-loud NLS1s. At the same time, we analyze the radio and infrared properties and color index and redshift. More important, we want make sure the corelation between radio-loud and broad emission line.
