This study explores the relationships among leader-member exchange, workplace friendship, psychological conditions, organizational identification, and helping behavior. Data were collected through the survey. A total of 390 copies of valid questionnaires was collected and analyzed. It is found that leader-member exchange is positively related to workplace friendship. Besides, both leader-member exchange and workplace friendship are positively related to employees’ psychological conditions. Employee’s psychological conditions are also positively related to their organizational identification and helping behavior. Managerial implications and recommendation for future research are thus discussed.
