近來由於環保意識抬頭,溶劑價格高漲,再加上世界各國紛紛立法限制VOC(Volatile Organic Compound)的排放量,促使塗料界廠商由先前的有機溶劑塗料,改而發展水性(water-borne)系統。
由於水性PU具有多功能性,因此成為大家廣泛研究的課題,然其製程頗多,且文獻所述方法、細節亦各異。因此,本論文選定以prepolymer mixing process合成水性PU,期望能找出最適的合成條件,在固定硬段含量的條件下,針對共溶劑含量、離子基含量、軟段分子量、軟段種類、異氰酸鹽種類、反應程序等變因,作一系列探討,並觀測其黏度行為,提供本實驗室日後深入研究的方向。
實驗結果顯示:膠體溶液黏度主要受膠體體積分率ψ(ψ=膠體體積/全部溶液體積)影響;對分散系統而言,共溶劑含量有一最適值;離子基含量愈多,分散粒徑愈小,分散液愈安定,但成膜後機械性質、耐水性均差;軟段分子量2000機械性質較佳,軟段分子鏈段愈長有助分散;親水性軟段有助分散,易結晶軟段有助機械性質提升;異氰酸鹽對稱性佳,有助耐水性提升;低含量(5wt%)的silicone rubber,於高離子基含量時(2.2 wt%),對安定度有一定程度的提升。
