  • Mobile ad hoc network(MANET,無線隨建即用網路) 是一個Mobile hosts之間可以互相溝通而不需經過Base Station的網路環境。地理位址資訊可以幫助無線網路中的行動節點傳送訊息,GPS接收器則可以幫助這些節點獲得地理資訊。
    在本篇文章中,我們提到了一個新的繞徑協定稱為GeoGRID,此協定可以提供訊息給位於特定地理區域的行動節點,並且可以有效降低行動節點傳送訊息所造成的廣播風暴效應。
    我們這次實作的平台是採用Linux作業系統,使用者的介面則是於X-window的環境下發展,主要提供針對於某特地區域中的行動節點做訊息廣播。
    我們實作了一個將GPS系統結合到無線行動隨建即用網路之繞徑協定上,並可以由使用者於視窗環境介面下操作,由於GPS的資料日益精準,我們將可以在這樣的網路架構上,做更多、更廣泛的應用。
