本研究以微能量放電結合噴塗介電薄膜材料進行放電加工,以改善加工面之表面粗糙度。藉由噴塗薄膜的厚度來影響放電痕高低點之電阻抗,並且利用薄膜層消耗部份的放電能量,使得再次放電時放電痕之隆起處逐一被去除,留下深淺均一的凹坑,以達到精修表面的目的。實驗中分別以噴塗材料之粉末種類、濃度和加工時之電流、極性、極間電壓、脈衝時間等電氣參數加以探討。
實驗結果顯示,微能量結合噴塗的工件表面粗糙度改善率可以提升33%,表面粗度值穩定性可以增加18%。因此,本研究採用之加工機制不但能提升機台的加工精度和改善加工面品質,並且可以縮短表面後處理時間。
