英語是目前國際上最通用的語言之一,大部分的學生在學習的過程中都必須努力培養自己的英文能力以理解英文的學習內容。在英文的學習環境下,英文的閱讀理解是非常重要的;在英文閱讀過程中所需要具備的能力主要包含字彙的理解能力及文章相關的背景知識,而要加強對於英文文章的理解則必須透過一些閱讀的策略以及方法,例如比較常見的查字典、撰寫註記、問題發問等等。
本研究將探討如何建構一套電腦輔助語言學習系統-MyERA,主要以英文文章的字彙查詢、英文文章的問題發問以及英文文章的內容註記等三項為主要的功能,並研究如何將此三項主要功能透過多層次的結構與英文文章的本文進行結合,以協助老師與學生更容易地實現閱讀的策略與方法;本研究除了解析MyERA如何實現閱讀的策略外,並會一併描述此系統所包含的關鍵性技術以及實作方式。
English is the most common language in the international community. Most of the students in the learning process must strive to cultivate her English ability to understand English learning content. In an English environment, English reading is a very important skill. In English reading processes, students need to have the capacity mainly contains vocabulary comprehension and the background knowledge related with article. If students want to strengthen the understanding for the English article, they must using reading strategies and methods, such as the use dictionary, write annotations and problem question.
This study will examine how to construct a computer-assisted language learning system called MyERA. With this system, we mainly provide vocabulary-consulting function, problem-questioning function and Annotation-taking function. And study how to make this three functions combined through the multi-level structure with the English text of the article, to assist teachers and students more easily to achieve reading strategies.
In this study, we will explain how MyERA to achieve reading strategies, and also describe the key technologies and implementation of this system.
