由於網路的日益發達,現今的線上學習網站已經是比比皆是,藉著網路的特性,使得線上學習的優點如(1)網路教材的豐富以及多樣化,(2)無時無刻可以上網學習,(3)藉由討論區的功能可以請教他人..等等,都是傳統教學所難望其項背的。學生若是遭遇到困難,卻難以從龐大的資料庫中篩選出其所需的資訊,現有的學習網站雖然大都有提供全文檢索的功能,找到的往往是一大群的資料,仍需要檢視許多篇文章後,才能得到他所需的相關資訊;而post在討論區等待專家回應,又未必能等到合適的專家來幫忙解決。
本論文的目標便是建立一個以知識座標地圖為基礎之學習支援系統包含(1)知識座標地圖(2)註記發問系統(3)自動回答系統(4)專家協尋系統。其中知識座標地圖用來整合線上的各種教材,將所有相關的教材編制為一個知識地圖;註記發問系統則結合註記系統,提供一個便於學生發問,並可精確描述、定位問題所在、讓觀看者可以清楚了解問題內容的發問系統;自動回答系統讓我們根據學生所提出的問題,依據各種屬性,從知識座標地圖中,找到和學生提出的問題相近的資訊,推薦給學生當作解答;專家協尋系統方面,我們根據學生提出的問題來定義出問題的座標,依學生的能力座標,找出能幫助解決同學問題的專家。
我們針對大一計算機概論班的52名學生做了一些實驗,實驗結果證實,(1)註記發問系統讓89.8%的學生覺得發問比一般的討論區方便,並且有65.3%的同學表示註記發問系統可以讓他更了解別人在問什麼。(2)自動回答系統經由整合線上的教材,讓學生的學習更加方便,並且有79%的同學認為自動回答系統比全文檢索好用,(3)協尋系統為學生找到了合適的專家來幫忙回答問題,其中有82.52%的專家評價在3以上(總分5,平均3.38),85.72%的同學認為專家的回覆對他們是有幫助的(3以上,總分5,平均3.36),(4)並且經由以上的系統以及我們所舉辦的討論區問答活動,增進了討論的討論風氣,使用量從平均每週13.2篇到實驗期間的137.4篇增加了十倍多,並且有67.3%的同學感覺討論風氣變好了。
