面對今日競爭激烈的市場環境,公司積極投入研發工作持續開發新產品已成為一項必備的工作,企業必須不斷地從事研發與創新,才能持續維持錡競爭優勢。由此可知,企業投入研發不但能提昇企業績效,更是獲取競爭優勢的主要來源,綜觀國內外之研究,有關新產品研發(New Product Development)的議題,無論在實務界或是學術研究上皆受到相當大的重視。
有關研發管理領域之研究,對於樣本的特別要求,研究之對象需具備足夠之研發能力,細看國內之產業環境,有進行新產品研發的廠商與有完善研發管理制度的廠商並不多,如何選擇合適的樣本進行作為研究對象,常是令學者們頭痛的問題之一。本研究希望能透過有系統的整理資訊,建置一研發管理資料庫,可供後續學者在進行研究使用。
本研究以國內參與「業界科專」計畫之廠商為研究樣本,透過文獻探討整理收集對於研發管理有影響之資訊,有效整理並建構一資料庫,完整的描述國內有研發能力公司之概況,可對後續研究此領域之學者,提供一有效的工具輔助,以完整的客觀資訊搭配各學者針對不同影響因子之主觀研究,以其能使研發管理此一領域之研究更趨完備。
