With the advanced technology and globalization, the social competition is increasingly relying on professional knowledge. The enterprise organizations pay more attention in speed and reliability to build their competitive advantage. Therefore, the organizations must establish a faster and higher-reliability organization to cope with the new competitive situation. Professional knowledge-based gigs will play an important role in the process of establishing high-reliability organizations(HRO), and this trend is becoming more and more common.
Nowadays, there is very little research on knowledge-based professional gig in high-reliability organizations. This study takes the functional characteristics of professional knowledge-based gigs as a starting point and establishment of high-reliability organizations as the goal. The grounded theory is used to conduct exploratory research. It mainly extracts the key factors, including the key role of professional knowledge-based gigs, internal and external factors, and government policies. The result of research builds the context of organizational transmutation by in-depth exploration of the relationship between these variable orientations.
This research uses in-depth interviews to collect information and grounded theoretical research methods to analyze. It summarizes three main core modules, 19 main axial coding and 50 open coding. According to the sequence of activities and the relationship of mutual influence, the organizational transmutation context model is developed. Finally, these modules are given new management implications for the activity system. Based on the research results, the organizational transmutation context model is used as a reference basis for the enterprise transmutation strategies, and the power of professional knowledge-based gigs is used to provide the directive improvement of the company's organizational business model.
