1. 搭配熱電子降溫晶片冷卻裝置(Thermoelectric cooler)及吸附劑Carboxen1000的使用,可以在無須耗費液態氮的情況下,以熱電子晶片降低吸附劑捕捉樣品之溫度至-30℃,來捕捉大氣中之乙烷、乙烯及乙炔等物種,因此改善此吸附劑在室溫下無法捕捉C2物種之窘境。
2. 搭配自行撰寫的自動控制軟體,能夠對廠區及存放場所之特定揮發性有機物之排放及洩漏進行監測與預警,本系統能在偵測周圍濃度達於事前設定之揮發性有機物質氣體濃度時,可於一分鐘內自動發出警報及燈示,並能對偵測物種做定性、定量的工作,作為長期監測廠區排放情形的數據,以使其符合現行環保法規。
3. 搭配以TO-17方法為原則之吸附管熱脫附儀,可以進行以吸附管為採樣設備的分析方法,在完成此熱脫附儀之開發後,讓本實驗室能以自行開發的VOCs前濃縮系統為基底,搭配各種氣體採樣設備,來進行多元化之大氣中VOCs量測工作。
