光學設計中最為複雜的便是整理各種鏡組的排列、數值、像差,而此專家系統便是解決和整合此問題的工具。
鏡片之組合方法,一般是經由前人的設計,而加已改進,然而前人的經驗繁複,完全不敷後輩的整合設計,唯有利用專家系統的知識化、系統化的管理,來完成鏡片的組合發展。
