According to Knowledge-Based Theory perspective, Knowledge management is competitive advantages of the firm. But successfully transfer knowledge from individual to organization is not easily. Organization expect employee share their knowledge to others, but individual willing to hoard it. There is a conflict between the two sides. So we hope to find some factors that cause the barriers of intention to share knowledge or facilitations of intention to share knowledge.
We use Theory of planned behavior to clarify how individuals think of knowledge sharing behavior within a firm. Based on TPB, There are three main structures, which are attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavioral control, influence general human behavior. We also want to find out what factors can affect these three structure respectively. Therefore we use incentive system, social psychology, organization culture and individual behavior control as antecedent factors of TPB to explain the effective of intention to share knowledge. We collect data from someone who have experienced new product development project and make some conclusions. We hope this study can help academic and industry development.
