本研究是在發展一套遠端機械手臂腹腔鏡手術系統,以了解遠端遙控機械手臂腹腔鏡手術的可行性。由於設備不足,此系統是由具有力回饋輸入裝置、近端電腦、伺服電腦、機械手臂及攝影機所組成。輸入裝置是用來模擬腹腔鏡運動,近端電腦和伺服電腦傳遞及接收機器人的運動及狀態指令與影像資料,彼此之間的控制訊號是靠TCP/IP網路傳送,而影像是使用RTP/RTCP網路。機械手臂可隨輸入裝置的操作而移動腹腔鏡,其移動過程可由攝影機攝取。本研究以一隻小木棒代替腹腔鏡,用骷顱頭頭頂上1公分直徑小洞當肚皮上開口支點,然後用輸入裝置控制機械手臂運動,觀察小木棒移動是否類似腹腔鏡運動模式以及影像顯示情況和機械手臂移動是否順暢,然後適當修正操作輸入裝置與及改變機械手臂控制模式和方位資料傳送的頻率和方式,改善了小木棒移動失控、機械手臂移動抖動和嚴重延遲的現象。
本研究已有初步結果,影像的傳輸及顯示尚稱流暢,而腹腔鏡也能由輸入裝置控制其運動,但動作尚不夠順暢穩定。在力回饋控制方面,則因設備未能及時交貨,以致沒有力回饋功能。本研究若能持續發展,可預期會有更完美的成果。
