隨著數位時代的來臨以及寬頻環境加速普及化,消費性電子、電腦與網路漸漸勾勒出「數位家庭」的未來。數位家庭所帶來的新變革及新應用,主要應來自於兩大方向:第一、產品數位化;第二、數位化產品的整合。數位家庭以家庭客廳為最主要應用環境,建立起各種裝置的連接性與互通性,希望藉由結合各種不同的數位設備產品與內容,來不斷擴展家庭與行動方面的數位娛樂體驗。這是一個全新的生活方式,讓消費者只要待在家中,就能夠自由自在地享受數位娛樂效果,包括音樂、電影、相片、TV…等。
本篇論文環繞著將所有家庭數位化電子產品整合的概念,實作出基於Intel Olo River的多媒體中心。目前建構出底層的軟體平台,在此平台上可以欣賞各種格式的影片、音樂和照片,後續會進一步地整合進多媒體加值服務或是檔案共享與同步,達到整合平台的目標。
As the arrival of digital time and the exponential growth in broad-band environment, the consumer electronics, computer and network have sketched the future of digital home. New changes and applications that digital home brings should mainly come from two aspects: First, product digitalization; Second, digital convergence. Digital home regards living room of the family as the main environment to set up interoperability of various kinds of devices, hope to expand the entertainment experience in family and mobility constantly by all kinds of digital products and digital contents. This is a brand-new life style that allows consumers only stay at home and can enjoy digital amusement freely, including music, movies, photographs, TV, etc…
In this paper, we implement a Media Center based on Intel Olo River around the concept of digital convergence for the digital home. We build the software platform in the button that can playback various formats of video, music and image. We will combine multimedia added value services or file sharing and synchronizing further in follow-up, reach the goal of platform combination.
