在無線行動隨建即連網路(Mobile Ad Hoc Network) 環境上傳送廣播訊息(broadcast)是解決許多問題最基本的一個動作。尤其在每個行動主機皆可自由的移動的無線行動隨建即連網路的環境中,因此更需頻繁地廣播訊息來尋找路徑、對某行動主機做呼叫、或傳送斷線訊號等。
但由於無線電的訊號在先天上具有容易和別人重疊的特性,因此,若使用傳統的flooding泛洪法來作訊息的廣播,會造成嚴重的重複、壅塞、以及碰撞的問題[9],使得珍貴的頻道資源無法有效率地運用。所以,為了減輕上述的現象,就必須從減少無謂的、重複的廣播以及錯開廣播的時機下手,而[9]所提的方法效能會隨周圍鄰居密度的改變而不同。
因此本篇論文主旨便是提出可以依週遭鄰居情況,動態調整的解決方法,分別是依據鄰居個數來作為臨界值選擇依據的Adaptive Counter-Based scheme動態計數法、Adaptive Location-Based scheme動態位置法、以及依據2hop內鄰居資訊作為判斷準則Neighbor Coverage scheme鄰居差集法,由模擬的結果可以看出本篇提出的動態方法在效能上較[9]的提昇;同時,我們也指出了mobility對於需要鄰居資訊的Neighbor Coverage scheme鄰居差集法所產生的影響。
