  • 在重力波的模擬中,我們研究了四種不同的模式,分別為:線性模式、準線性模式、準非線性模式及非線性模式。由線性模式的研究中發現,分析出來之垂直群速度與相速度之方向相反,且與線性重力波頻散關係所推導出之理論值相當的一致,由此可以再一次的驗證我們先前所發展的分析方法和模擬所使用的程式均相當的正確。另一方面,我們也可以經由線性模擬的分析中了解重力波傳播的基本特性。在準線性模擬中,可以和線性模擬互相比較,了解波與背景風場交互作用中對我們模擬的影響。並發現在準線性模式中會產生一反射向下的波動。
    在準線性的模擬中我們發現,若不嚴格控制波與背景風場的交互作用,則會產生一反射向下的波,進而影響了我們的分析。因此我們精心的設計出準非線性模式之模擬,在準非線性模式中我們嚴格控制波與背景風場的交互作用,並忽略二階以上的波波交互作用,順利地取出較乾淨的資料,才得以研究波與波的交互作用。在準非線性模擬中,我們發現經波波交互作用後所產生的波,其波數較大者完全的符合非線性的共振關係;而波數較小者卻不符合非線性的共振關係。在非線性模擬的研究中,相同地也可以和準非線性模擬互相比較,了解我們所控制的項對重力波有如何的影響。
    最後我們分析了中壢剖風儀之觀測資料,發現重力波其垂直群速度和相速度之方向均相反,且不管是在冬季或是夏季,其各群速度及各相速度之值均相當接近。我們也利用這些觀測資料反推求得重力波之水平波長。
