Traditional vocabulary learning in English lacked of essential vocabulary learning strategies, which can help English as a foreign language learners learn English with higher performance and efficiency. We aim to explore a new integrated development process for e-Learning software, which provides better vocabulary learning strategies and can truly help people learn English well.
To develop a new software development process with e-Learning software, we apply iNPD into Stage-Gate product innovation process in new product development to conquer the difficulty in summarize Quality Function Deployment ouput in product development. At first, we used SET and LEF method to analyze users’ respectation in vocabulary learning and to realize the concept of product characteristics to myVLS, a new vocabulary learning e-Learning software prototyping development. After myVLS was developed, we adopted statistic analyses to find out the increase of learning performance using myVLS. Finally, we extracted the key factors of a successful product in e-Learning software at the end of the integrated development process.
