本文研究的內容包括兩個部份,首先是針對在不同氣氛下鎂合金(AZ61)的燃燒過程作探討,並利用自行設計的加熱測溫裝置,對氬氣、二氧化碳、六氟化硫等混合氣體作抑制鎂合金燃燒效能的分析和比較。接下來的壓塊實驗是把製造過程中的鎂合金加工屑收集並加以分類,利用不同的荷重壓力壓縮成塊,並分析比較不同荷重壓力、加工屑種類、表面沾附狀況下成形的壓塊品質和密度,實驗結果發現,所使用的荷重壓力越大形成的壓塊密度和品質越佳,在相同壓力條件下,加工屑表面切削油的沾附情形是影響壓塊品質和密度的主要原因。
