In this thesis, we model a system that uses fly’s eye lens to redistribute light
from an LED source to obtain high uniformity illumination. First, we establish
successfully two optical models for Osram CQAR and CR7P based on mid-field
concept. By using these two light source models, we design the beam integrator
system and we analyze several parameters for the system to get a uniform pattern.
We demonstrate our model by comparing our simulations with a real optical system.
At last, we optimize the system to get the best uniformity when the light pattern
before the fly’s eye lens is not smoothing
