This paper presents a cast study with the business process modeling, which explore the supply chain collaboration. The supply chain collaboration practices related to new product design, order forecast, order fulfillment process management, electronic procurement have been shown to be important to supply chain performance, that will be presented by process modeling to discuss how to collaborate among all the business processes. In our research, we illustrate Z Company to discuss this issues implemented by actual practice. This focus include the new product design to involve suppliers, collaborative order forecast to reduce the uncertainty, order fulfillment process management and electronic procurement in order to fulfill the customers’ order.
Our research content include, the introduction and Chapter 2 provide overviews of collaborative supply chain and relate to literature review. Chapters 3 introduce the research structure and modeling and application tools. Chapter 4 discuss that (1) the new product design was described by IDEF0 and UML (2) collaborative demand forecast and order fulfillment process were shown by IDEF0, UML and ARIS tools (3) electronic procurement was presented by UML. In the chapter 5: apply the domain research into case study. The final chapter makes the conclusion and recommendation.
