本研究以人工方式在單張影像上沿建物屋頂面順序點取大略屋角點及屋脊點,若屋角點有遮蔽時則點選最靠近的兩屋緣端點。此有順序之連線集合經過矩形建物正交特性導出該有的屋緣線及屋脊線概略位置即輪廓線後,找出各輪廓線間於實際物空間中應有的高度相對關係。接著,在實際影像中搜尋得各輪廓線局部範圍內之邊緣線,再與另張影像作匹配可得到各邊緣線的視差值(此視為物空間高度之相對參考值) 。最後,各邊緣線輔以前述相對關係作評選,得最多項支持之邊緣線,其邊緣線交點即所求屋角點及屋脊點,再經空間前方交會,則建物三維模式於是成立。
