This study aims to examine the performance of banking sector of Mongolia by comparing it with other countries so as to learn a lesson on countries banking performance and critical factors to be able to implement and enable the Mongolian banking sector and the authorities to have a fresh perspective on the current situation in the market. Also to study the various implementation of Information Technology application in different countries to learn a lesson and to suggest the best bit IT application implementation. The results show the banking sector in Mongolia is growing rapidly and is also less affected by economic difficulties as much as the other sectors in the country such as copper without considering the IT development. The information technology in Mongolia is obsolete yet has rooms to improve and is facing difficulties with current increased number of data store and processing. Moreover, it is difficult to implement information technology to outreach to the rural area population due to the low level of literacy in use of information technology among the rural area customers, and the implementation of information technology in rural area requires special strategic management to make information technology available.
