  • 但是對地面觀測卻又太高了,所以這個區域對我們仍充滿了許多未知。因此若能
    研究這個區域的氣輝變化,就能間接的來了解這個區域的大氣資訊。
    過去觀察中氣層和低電離層區域的氣輝都是用火箭作定點觀測,所以無法
    對氣輝作長期變化和全球分布的研究。在1991 年9 月12 日UARS 衛星(Upper
    Atmosphere Research Satellite)升空之後,因為它能長時間觀測中氣層和低電離
    層中O2(b1Sg
    +)氣輝變化,為我們提供了一個研究此區域的有力工具。所以我們選
    擇UARS 衛星中的O2(b1Sg
    +)氣輝資料作為本論文的研究基礎。
    本論文第一部份先對UARS 衛星和O2(b1Sg
    +)氣輝做基本的介紹,並說明
    UARS 衛星的資料格式與處理方法。第二部份則是對數據作O2(b1Sg
    +)氣輝與高度
    分布、全球分布及長期週期變化的分析。第三部份則是對O2(b1Sg
    +)氣輝的分析結
    果作討論。我們觀察到O2(b1Sg
    +)氣輝對季節有週期性的變化,且認為太陽的輻射
    量對O2(b1Sg
    +)氣輝有直接的影響。
