This study investigates the relationships among person-organization fit, employees’ core self-evaluations, managerial aspirations, and organizational commitment. It is found that person-organization fit is positively related to employees’ managerial aspirations. Core self-evaluations are positively related to employees’ managerial aspirations. In addition, employees’ managerial aspirations are positively related to their organizational commitment. Managerial implication and suggestions for future research are thus discussed.
