重力波的物理機制一直是引人注意且感興趣的研究課題,自從雷達觀測風速技術的成熟,重力波的現象與許多的理論皆一一的被發現,但是重力波的能量傳遞和群速度研究文獻卻不多見。
本篇論文是利用群速度與相速度追跡法的方式,且根據線性重力波理論,來分析日本MU雷達冬天和夏天資料與北歐雷達的觀測資料,從轉換得到的灰度圖 ( gray scale map) 中計算出大氣重力波的垂直群速度,垂直相速度,和波包的週期等物理參數,並且從這些參數中求取重力波的水平波長,從這些物理量中能夠讓我們更快的瞭解重力波傳遞的方向與能量傳輸的速度,使我們能夠更快的瞭解重力波的基本性質。
